Description :

The Quick Camera Adapter (order no. 52 86 10) combines spotting scopes with digital cameras and video cameras. Simply mount the camera behind the scope eyepiece and adjust it. Photos are taken through the eyepiece.

• Rapid switching from recording to observing

• Up to 60 x magnification of camera focal lenth.

• Most of all compact digital cameras fits to the system and can be adjusted.

• For use with Diascope straight and angled viewing.

Description :

With Photo Adapter ,the Diascope spotting scope is transformed into a super tele for 35 mm SLR photography.

• Photo adapter is screwed to the spotting scope instead of the eyepiece.

• Thread to connect to the scope: M 45 x 0.5

• Camera is rotatable for portrait or landscape mode.

• SLR camera is mounted on the photo adapter with commercially available T2 ring .

• Resulting focal length:

  • 1000 mm (85 FL)

  • 770 mm (65 FL).

• Resulting aperture 1:12.

• No dark edges on the 35 mm film.

The resulting magnification is calculated by division:
focal length scope objective / focal length eyepiece.
Due to variety of astronomical eyepieces not all are suited for mounting on the Diascope.
